Data Controller
This website is operated by Oakridge Accounting & Advisory Ltd.
What data we collect and why
We collect personal information only when you actively provide it — for example, by submitting the contact form on this website. The information collected includes your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.
Lawful basis for processing
We process contact form submissions on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to enquiries from potential and existing customers. If you subscribe to any mailing list or marketing communications via this website, we will rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies:
• Session cookie — keeps the site working during your visit. It is deleted when you close your browser.
• Cookie preference — remembers whether you have accepted the cookie notice. It expires after 12 months.
These cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function and do not require consent.
If Google Analytics is enabled on this site, an additional analytics cookie is used to understand how visitors use the site. This cookie is only set after you accept cookies via the banner at the bottom of the page. The data collected is anonymous and aggregated. Google Analytics data may be processed on servers outside the UK — Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for these international transfers. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. This website is hosted by D24 MEDIA (d24media.com), who processes data on our behalf as a data processor. Site data is stored on servers within the UK/EU.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details at the top of this policy.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
